It's blogging time!

Well, here it is: my first blog, ever. It's kind of exciting knowing that in a public-ish forum, I can write whatever. I. want. Dun-dun-duunnn!

Seriously, though, I intend this blog to just be a place to update what's happening in our lives, especially for those of our friends and family who live across the country. And of course to complain, post the occasional joke, picture, craft project, whatever, when the mood strikes.

So, enjoy. And if I'm just talking to myself, that's A-OK.
